2. Information on this website
SATUCC publishes information on this website in good faith for the benefit of members and prospective members. General information about labour rights and union processes is not legal advice and does not create a guarantee of any particular outcome in a workplace matter.
Members with an active matter should contact the union office so that the matter can be dealt with on its facts.
3. Membership applications
- Submitting an application does not by itself create membership. Applications are reviewed by SATUCC and membership is confirmed in writing.
- You must provide true, accurate and complete information. Incorrect information may delay or invalidate an application.
- Membership is subject to the union constitution, including subscription payment and the rights and duties of members.
- The membership fee is R65. The amount and frequency are set by the union administration and confirmed to you during the application process.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false, abusive or unlawful content through any form on this website.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to union systems, member records or administrative areas.
- Do not reproduce union documents or campaign material in a way that misrepresents SATUCC.
5. Documents and downloads
Documents published in the resources section, including the constitution and policy documents, remain the property of SATUCC. They may be downloaded and shared for union purposes provided they are not altered.
6. Availability and changes
SATUCC aims to keep this website available and current but does not warrant uninterrupted availability. Content, campaigns and published documents may be updated or withdrawn as union positions develop.
